How To Care The Hair

Before Shampoo — Be sure to use a wide-tooth comb to detangle hair. If washing Bundles, separate  bundles into individual bundles or sections to avoid knots and tangles and to make handling washing the hair easier.

Shampooing and Rinse — When Shampooing your Hair, use a mild shampoo and warm water. Be careful to shampoo the hair between the palms of your hands from the top of hair through to the ends and repeat until hair is clean. Be sure to remove all product build up and rinse hair from the top of the head down to the ends of the hair.

Conditioning Treatments  Use a strong conditioner or treatment on Hair, avoiding products that will weigh down the hair. Detangling products and silicone serums are also safe to use with this live cuticle hair. Avoid tangling and breakage by using a wide-tooth comb on wet hair. For best result leave conditioner/treatments on for a minimum of 20 minutes and comb through before rinse. Always thoroughly rinse hair to remove excess conditioner/treatment from the hair.

Drying —

Natural Drying: Wring out the wet hair as much possible to remove excess water in the hair. For best results leave hair to dry overnight in natural air. Towel dry then leave hair hanging in a dry cool place.

Heat Drying: Wring out the wet hair as much as possible to remove excess water in the hair. Towel-dry the hair as much as possible. Use a blow dryer with a strong airflow and not just a hot one. Blow drying with a flat brush and applying a protective product works best when using a blow dryer for straight hair that will be straightened with heat.

Heat Appliances/Straighteners/Curlers/Tongs — Avoid using heat exceeding 280 degrees Fahrenherit on the Hair. Use a straightening iron, tong or curler sparingly and avoid using heat-styling tools with straightening treatments. Heat appliances not advised for curly, wavy, locks or kinky hair.

Product Maintenance — Light serums, light essential oils or anti frizz serums are best. For straight, body wave and loose wave hair the less product the easier it enables heat appliances to work on the hair. For Curly, locks and waves a heavier amount of product along with water usually is the best solution for desired styles.

Repairing — Consider ionic products for repairing damaged hair. Inoic products are negatively charged to control the positively charged hairs that tend to split, fly away or become brittle from dryness. Inoic products such as chermical treatments and special blow dryer-restore, deodorize and return beautiful hair to a healthy state.
